Prior to the start of the festival "proper" we have a few little things to get you in the mood!

Hepple Wilds - Art Workshop

Saturday 21 June, 10.30am - 4.30pm, £25.00, numbers limited

Spend the morning with artist Rose Ferraby and the Hepple ecologist and guide Richard Thompson who will gently, but totally, immerse you in the landscape, then after a light lunch you will spend the afternoon creating a personal artistic response to the landscape and nature you have encountered during the day. 


A limited number of places are available. Details of the day at Hepple Estate will be sent later.

Celebrating Trees Exhibition

Wednesday 25 June - 7 July, Alnwick Playhouse

 Local people celebrate trees in paint, textiles, poetry, stories and more. Nine groups

and some individuals have worked with artist, Anna Corbett, to produce some fascinating multi-media work. 

During the exhibition there will  be an opportunity to ‘Meet the Artists’. This will take place on Thursday 26th June between 1pm and 3pm and again on Tuesday 1st July between 10am and 12noon at the Alnwick Playhouse. 

On Wednesday 2nd July there will also be a demonstration by the Alnwick Lacemakers, again in the Alnwick Playhouse.
